From our friend, Karsten, with his Vinyl Vibes 10th anniversary… a huge event:

It’s time again for some VINYL VIBES news. first of all we are looking forward to the 10TH ANNIVERSARY of our vinyl vibes club night in cologne. 10 years in the name of jazz and we are celebrating together with some of the finest and most admirable artists we had the pleasure of hosting so far. the party takes place in a lovely half-outdoor venue called „odonien“ on friday the 4th of july. dj guests on two floors include QUANTIC, JAZZANOVA, ANDY WILLIAMS and others. we are more than pleased about anyone who’s gonna make it to cologne on that day to celebrate together with us. please hit us back if you need any assistance on travel or stay.

also we are very much looking forward to the next release on our label VINYL VIBES RECORDS to be released end of june. it`s a 12“ called MODERN CLUBBER EP and features exclusive leftfield clubtunes by BASEMENT FREAKS (INVERSE CINEMATICS REMIX), YE:SOLAR, CURV and PROJETOITAGIBA. as a novelty there has been absolutely no advance digital promotion (neither cd or mp3), so the first ones to purchase a vinyl copy will be the first ones to have the tunes. like back in the good old days.

yet you can listen to the tunes on our myspace page and we are happy about anyone leaving a feedback comment (http://www.myspace.com/vinylvibesrecords). due to the unfortunate insolvency of distributor „soul seduction“ in december all of our releases are now exclusively handled by OUR DISTRIBUTION (www.our-distribution.com).

last but not least vinyl vibes dj & mastermind KARSTEN JOHN is going on tour again to celebrate the new release and anniversary. find the dates by the end of this mail, it would be lovely to see you on a gig nearby. any promoter on this mailing list wanting to fill a gap in the schedule is of course more than
