PTR Launches Website ReDesign and Digital Downloads

It’s been a few months in the making but Public Transit Recordings is excited to announce our website redesign, with features that hopefully bring you back more often. Check out our updated news and events pages and stay updated with the RSS feeds.

Our radio page features podcasts, all you have to do is add this link http://www.ptrmusic.com/podcasts.php to your podcast catcher (ie iTunes) and get updated to our radio programs. Right now we are featuring Brukbeat Radio with Djs Dialect and Vision (heard on CKLN in Toronto).
Future Classic Radio with Djs Tashish and Moonstarr coming strong on CKUT in Montreal
and the PTR label podcast, get the lastest and greatest (and some older tunes) PTR releases.. updated monthly.. Here is the latest track list:

Yes, now you can compile your own PTR mix for you next Subway Ride. All tracks are encoded at 256 Kbs or higher, and individual tracks are 0.99 and full albums are $8. Check out tracks from LAL, Moonstarr, Voice plus much more..

Montreal Beat Wizard Think Twice @ NXNE in the T.Dot

Headz from the T.dot get a peak at Montreal beatmaker ThinkTwice and what he has in store for 2007. He will be performing at the North By North East festival in Toronto as part of the the “Geographical Lesson in Hip Hop” put on by the Academy and Cyberkrib.com.

Recently ThinkTwice has been creating a buzz about himself in the Far East as his beats are getting solid rotation in Japan, he’s already produced 2 albums for Japanese audiences and they can’t get enough of his head nodding beats . Hip Hop Headz propbably heard of ThinkTwice as the producer behind Montreal’s underground group the Specifics, whom he co-founded. In 2007 he will be ready to unleash his solo project for North America called Rock to this Beat…

Those of you not fortunate to live in Japan can now pick up a copy of his Album “With A loop and Some Swing” on iTunes and at Dance Tracks Digital..
